Important Notice for Ontario Candidates Regarding Bill 139

Bill 139 introduces significant changes for all temporary agencies and their employees. Effective November 6, 2009, all new assignments must be confirmed in writing. This confirmation will include the company name, address, job description, and the start and finish date. While many assignments may be extended, you will always receive the next estimated finish date in advance and in writing from ProTemps/ProTegé.

All ProTemps/ProTegé temporary employees are required to provide an active email address. If you do not have an email address, you will need to visit our office to receive the necessary paperwork before starting any job assignments.

Please be aware that your employment is for a specific assignment or project. At the end of each assignment, your employment will automatically end. You will not be entitled to further notice of termination, pay in lieu of notice, or severance pay.
