We have the perfect opportunity for you!

Our client- a global shipping company is looking for Customer Service Representatives to join their team on a temp to perm basis. Candidates must have call centre or high volume customer service experience. 

Working Hours: 9am-5pm or 11am-8pm (Candidate must be flexible)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer all customer inquiries regarding export/import bookings
  • Track and trace shipment and resolve delivery issues
  • Coordinate the movement of export/import cargo
  • Process customer orders and maintain data in internal systems
  • Monitor government holds of shipments to ensure compliance
  • Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
  • Maintain and update customer account information
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal an external clients
  • Manage business-related communication and provide timely responses
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years direct customer service experience
  • 1-2 years experience in transportation is strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other computer systems
  • Able to work in a deadline driven environment with sense of urgency
  • Able to use good judgement and common sense
  • Can work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
  • University/College degree required
